Welcome
Limuru Country Club is a private Members’ club that was established in 1945 by colonial settlers. It opened it’s first nine holes in 1949 and the second nine holes in 1952. Other than the golf course, the club consists of lawn bowling, tennis courts, a cricket pitch, squash courts and a swimming pool. The club is located 25 kilometres from Nairobi, surrounded by luxuriously verdant tea fields with a proud reputation of providing Members and their guests with a friendly, welcoming and inclusive experience.

Bowling Greens
How about lawn bowls on our magnificent bowling green?The Game is played on a Bowling Green. The surface is generally grass but in some of the hotter, drier countries artificial surfaces are increasingly being used.
Cricket at Limuru
The Cricket Pitch is Situated right next to the practice range and at the front of the Club House. It is the Only cricket pitch in East Africa that has a grass Wicket. Cricket is the second most popular sport in Kenya.
Swimming
Enjoy our pool with service from the club house served directly to the pool area. On weekends and holidays, take time out around the pool area with family and friends. Bring the kids along as you enjoy a lazy afternoon chatting away.

Form a Group
Join 2 or 3 other players and form a group. Its an opportunity to meet new people with similar interests and backgrounds
Play 9 or 18 holes
Start on the 1st or 10th hole and take off to a challenging but enjoyable experience. There’s nothing like a good day out.
Competitions
You can play the Clubnite medal every Wednesday or opt for sponsored Saturdays, there’s always lots of fun to be had and good prizes up for grabs.
